MY NEWEST T-SHIRT

Hi folks. I want to share some exciting news with you all. My honey bought me a new edition to the a-prata-design family...a heat press!!!! (Isn't he the best?)
Here she is...(along with my baby Jack peeking around it.)
This is my first project with the new heat press.
The pattern is from the Silhouette store. I cut it in silver glitter HTV. The 'Timberlake' font is 'black rose. It was cut in red HTV. I just love how it came out. The pictures do not do it justice. Thank you so much Mr. Timberlake for my new present. I LOVE YOU both. 112 days left til our wedding :)

Get Well Soon

Hi again. I have been working on some different get well cards for several friends that have or will be having some surgeries soon. This is the first card that I would like to share with you all.
It is just a giant band-aid card. The pattern is from 'My Scrap Chick'.
You can see a bit better in this picture the circles cut out in the middle to give it more of a band-aid look.
I attached a heart shaped button on the front with some bakers twine tied to the holes. I love this simple but cute card. I hope it adds a little cheer to my friend's day. Feel better folks.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOLLY MAE

Hi folks. Ever have 'one of those's days'? Ugh. So my so-to-be niece Molly's birthday was earlier in the month. Her birthday celebration was this past Saturday. I found myself unexpectedly in the emergency room for most of the day. Needless to say, we missed her party. This is the card/envelope that I had made for her. I was in such a rush to take pictures so I could bring it to the post office that they were out of focus...doooh. Sorry, but I think you get the picture (no pun intended).
(It hurts my eyes just looking at it.)
This card flipped up to open and had a pocket for a 'Fivc Below' gift card.
This is the front of the envelope that I had hoped to deliver in person but now got mailed inside a bubble mailer. I wanted to practice more on my hand lettering. It was going good until the nub of the white pen let go in the upper right corner. :(
I love how the back of the envelope came out. I still need practice, but I am getting there. Thanks for looking. Let's hope my day gets better :)

Eileen Hull Designs Class

Hi Folks. I am not one for taking classes (especially when I am saving up for my wedding in 163 days). But I couldn't let this one slip away...

A few years ago, I came across some amazing handwriting doodling done by a woman named Eileen Hull. I began following her on social media and last Fall had the opportunity to meet her in Rhode Island. I had taken the 25 minute trip just to say 'Hi' while she was in between classes at Bella Art. I had asked her if she had plans to do anything at a store much closer to home and she said that she would look into it. Well. today was the day. She came to Right at Home Scrapbooking in North Attleboro, Ma to teach two classes. The first one of the day just happened to be the handwriting doodling class. YIKES.
This is a picture of some of her work. I just love everything about it. Just the fact that it is all done free hand is amazing to me. I learned so much from her today and so excited to get practicing.
This is the project I did...an adorable box with this pull out card. I did a different border on each side just as a sample card for me to have in the future. My letters need help but... practice makes perfect.
A huge thank you to Eileen for inspiring me to today to be a little more creative.
This is me outside her vintage camper. If you havent seen this in person, you should. It is absolutely adorable. It makes me dream of bigger things for me and a prata designs. You can follow Eileen Hull  here @ http://www.eileenhull.com.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR HARPER LILLIAN

Hello again. I am taking a break from birthday cards to bring you a 'first day of school' card that I just finished. My 3 year old friend Harper Lillian started school on Monday.
I used this adorable pattern from Precious Piecings. I love this cutie in her wheels.
Here is a close up. I love how her hair is layered.
This is the inside, left side of the card. I just love this paper. You can not tell from the picture but the objects are slightly raised and have a shiny gloss to them.
This is the inside, right side of the card. When Harper got to school she was so happy to see that there was a fish tank in the lobby. So of course, I wanted to include this adorable pattern also by Precious Piecings. He is so adorable. Haha. Congratulations to Harper. I am so proud of her. Thanks everyone for looking.
