HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY GODFATHER

Hi folks. I want to share a banner I made for my Godfather. His birthday was actually last week but he had been away on a cruise. I sneaked into this house yesterday and put this banner up over his fireplace.

Haha. I think he might be surprised.

Here is a close up of the pieces. I did outline the letters with glitter glue just to give it some 'pop'.
Sure hope he had a great cruise and a great birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FELICIA

Happiest birthday wishes to my niece Felicia. She is celebrating her 16th birthday today. She is actually going to Portugal in a few month with school so I thought I would make her a bi~lingual card. She loved it. Thanks so much for looking. Amanda

THANK YOU FOR THE CHRISTMAS COOKIES

Hi folks. This next project might seem very outdated but...

I had two very thoughtful neighbors make me Christmas cookies this year. I have been so busy with work that this is the first chance I have had to make them a 'thank you' card.
The pattern is from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.

This is the inside of the card. Thanks so much for looking.

RINGING IN THE NEW YEAR

Happy New Year everyone. I decided to take a few days off since December was so busy for me. I am back now with some adorable New Year cards I made.

I love these guys. These cards actually double as 'thank you' cards for some amazing gifts that both my husband and I received for Christmas.

I hope 2017 is a great year for all of us. Come back in a day or two to see a few more cute New Year Cards that I am currently working on. Thanks so much for looking.

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE

Hi folks, I wanted to close out the year by sharing a cute project that I did for one of nephews.

This is Aaron. I asked him a month ago what he wanted for Christmas. He told me that 'his interests change like the weather so cash would be best'. haha. That kid!!! So I went to my local pizza shop and ordered a pizza with an extra box on the side.

I cut the top of the box with the pizza into a circle. Then I wrapped that with Christmas paper. I then used glue dots to assemble the dollar bills and the quarters on top. I stuck the bow in the middle. The sign in the top of the box was my first attempt at hand lettering. I was so proud of myself for how awesome it came out. Aaron actually removed the sign from the box and stuck it on his bedroom door.

I hope everyone had a great holiday season as well as 2016.
