LOVE IS IN THE AIR BLOG HOP

Hello everyone and Welcome to Love is in the Air Blog Hop!
Valentine’s Day has to be one of my favorite holidays next to Christmas and Thanksgiving. I love the décor, flowers, candy, balloons, and stuffed animals and let’s not forget the cheesy cards! Valentine’s Day is that one special day we can show extra love and appreciation to all of those special people we have in our lives. To celebrate Valentines Day, I have a group of talented designers that have created their own special project to showcase.
We hope you enjoy hopping away and as always we hope to inspire you!

Lluvia will be giving away a grand prize, all you have to do is comment on each of the designer’s blog! Winner will be picked on 2/5, please leave your email address!
If you came from http://jk-littlebitofbling.blogspot.com you are in the right direction!
Here is my project. This is a two page scrapbook layout. It features the 'gnomes' pattern set from Designs on Cloud 9.
                           How cute huh?
Page 1
Page 2 has two 4x6 mats for photos or journal. There are two small tags behind these. All mats have been machine stitched with decorative stitching.
This is a picture of page 2 with the tags removed ~ it shows the title a little better.
Isn't this little clay pot house the cutest thing? I love the steam pipe sticking out.
In front of the house is a little crop of love growing.
Here is a close up shot of the Papa Gnome.
Just look at this cutie. Thanks so much for looking. Now onto http://www.jamielindstromdesigns.com.
Here is a list of all the stops just in case you got lost along the way...thanks for hopping along.

SUGAR COOKIE LOVE

Hi again. I wanted to show you these cute sugar cookies that I made.
Don't they look yummy? I created them by rolling out regular sugar cookie dough and then pressing svg cut shapes into the dough. These hearts are from the Designs on Cloud 9 'heart doilies' pattern set.
Here is a closer look at them after I baked them.
I am not going to lie, I ate them as soon as they came out!!! Thanks for looking.

GOT SNOW?

I want to share a wreath that I made for my Godparents.
This curly paper wreath was made from various snowflake papers. I then embellished it with rosettes with a different snowflake svg from Designs on Cloud 9's snowflake galorie pattern.
The 'snow' title was made from the 'first snow' pattern as well as the 'banner' pattern.
I am not a fan of snow but I love how this wreath came out. I love all the blues. It really looks great on my green door too.
Thanks so much for looking.

HOW STINKIN' CUTE?

Hello Lovies. I just wanted to share a quick little treat bag that I made.
I created this by using several files all from Designs on Cloud 9. The bag base itself is from the 'basic bag' set. Then I attached two different red hearts from the 'lacey doiley' set. On top of that is this adorable skunk from the 'love stinks' pattern set. I used mulberry paper on his white areas to give him a fluffy look. I then attached a Valentine floral pick and added a white ribbon that has tiny red hearts on it. This was so quick and easy to make. Just fill with candy/treats and viola. What a great way to show someone that you care for them :)

CONGRATULATIONS

Look at this cute card I made for my niece. She started her own printing company a few years back and this past Sunday participated in her first 'wedding show'.

This easel card was created using a Martha Stewart border punch around the edges. The bride is a digi stamp from Precious Piecings. I am so happy with how the roses came out.

This is the card when fully open. The bottom half was created with the most gorgeous vellum I have ever seen. Congratulations Cricket Printing. I am so proud of you :)

CHRISTMAS THANK YOU CARDS

I think everyone by now (or in a day or so) should have gotten my 'Christmas thank you' cards.
I made these cards for anyone who took the time to either buy me or make me something special during the holiday season.

I created them using the 'nutcracker' pattern set from Designs on Cloud 9.
I also used the 'nuts about you' pattern set to create the peanuts and acorns in the bottom left hand side.

The inside was created with the 'card sentiment 1' and 'office talk' pattern set.
Thanks for looking. Stay tuned as I look forward to moving on to Valentine's Day stuff soon.

POINSETTIA ARRANGEMENT

Hello folks. I want to share a project I created using the 'poinsettia' pattern from Designs on Cloud 9.

How gorgeous huh? I was given the basket this year by my Godparents with my Christmas gifts inside. I loved it so much that I just knew I had to do 'something' special with it.

I made 8 different paper flowers and stuck them together. I am so happy with how it came out. Thanks so much for looking.

Christmas Cardinal

Hello everyone. I have been having problems downloading pictures on blogger so bare with me. I am not sure why all of a sudden it wont give me the option of download straight from the tool bar. Hopefully, I can figure it out and get back to blogging normal. But til then, I just want to share a quick one page scrapbook layout I did. This is using the 'christmas cardinal 'pattern set from Designs on Cloud 9. I made the bird from two different color red mulberry paper. Thanks for looking and stay tuned.
