OOPS...

Hi folks, I want to share a cute card I made last month. I just found it on my computer. Am I really that busy that I forget to share with you guys? Maybe I need a vacation before the holidays. :) Enjoy.

GIFT BAG GALORE

Hi everyone. The owner of Little Scraps of Heaven Designs asked if I would be willing to do a video tutorial on how to put together her newest pattern, the gift bag. Unfortunately, I can not download it here (file too big for the blogger). If you are interested you can hop over to my facebook page and view it there. (Click on the link to the right.)

Here are some still photos that I also took.

Thanks so much for looking.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MOTHER

Hi again everyone. My Mom's birthday was on Thanksgiving this year. This was the card I made her.

How cute is this easel card? Sadly, it is raining here in Massachusetts so isn't as bright out as I hoped. But oh how I love it.

This is the card when on display.

The cake, and present are from a pattern set title 'birthday boy'.

The girl pattern is titled 'french girl' both are from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.

The flower in the corner is just a 3D flower that I was playing around with. I am really happy with how it came out.

Thanks so much for looking and a very happy birthday to my Mom.

LET'S FEAST

Hi folks. I hope everyone enjoyed their holiday yesterday. I just wanted to share one last Thanksgiving project before moving on.

I did this one page layout featuring the 'lets feast' pattern from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. How cute right?

Look at this guy with his little fork and knive. I love the green beans and stick of butter.

Here is a close up of the rolls.

I love these corn on the cob.

Some mashed potatos and of course no Thanksgiving dinner is complete without...

PIE!!

I hope you all had a great holiday filled with family, food and rest and relaxation. Thanks so much for looking. ~ Amanda

HAPPY THANKSGIVING

HAPPY THANKSGIVING everyone. I want to share a gift idea with you all. I am heading to my Mom's and bringing this yummy bread.

I made a festive belly band to dress it up a bit. The pattern is titled 'pilgrim boy and girl'.

I think it makes the bread just a bit more special :)

Thanks so much for looking and enjoy your day. ~ Amanda

FEEL BETTER BILL

Happy Sunday everyone. I just want to share my newest slider card. Sorry for the poor video...I didnt realize how tough it would be to make a video with the card opening vertically.

My poor brother-in-law hurt is foot and will be out of work for at least four months. I made this card to hopefully make him feel better. I used the 'check up time' pattern from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. Thanks so much for looking. Come back soon as I attempt another great slider like this with a Thanksgiving theme.

CHRISTMAS IS 44 DAYS AWAY

Christmas is 44 days away...I am not one to do 'countdowns' because I think you get so distracted by looking forward to one specific day or occasion that you miss out on time and days leading up to then. But...because I have such a big family, Christmas is always a big production that takes months of planning and prep work.

That is why I LOVE these Christmas tags. Not only are they quick and fun but you can make them to coordinate your wrapping paper. I have paper that is neon green, blue, pink and silver ~ not the traditional Christmas colors.

I love how these tags now match my paper and bows. I am happy to say that one of my 4 advent calendars is finished!!!

Thanks so much for looking. ~ Amanda

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEC

Good morning folks. I want to wish my nephew Alec a very happy birthday and share with you the card I made him.

I love this birthday boy file. A huge thank you to Little Scraps of Heaven Designs for this file.
Here is the card when fully open.
This is the card when put in its 'easel' position. It looks crooked but it really lines up nicely.
Happy birthday Alec. I hope you have a great day.

THANK YOU FELICIA

Hi everyone. I want to share yet another easel card that I have made.

I made this card for my niece Felicia who ran a Halloween road race with me last Sunday.

This is what it looks like when open.

This is what the card looks like when placed in the easel position. How adorable huh? This was the first time I made this kind of flower cluster. I like how it looks. I think next time I would make the roses a different color than the main tulip type. Thanks so much for looking. Come back tomorrow for another easel birthday card.

LAST DAY OF BOXING CLASS

Happy Friday morning. I started a boxing fitness class eight weeks ago. Today was my last day.

I made this card for Tracy who was my instructor the first two weeks.

I made this card for Jess who was my instructor for the last six weeks. It was a super fun class and now I am looking forward to the next chapter of my 'fitness' life. Thanks so much for looking.
