Hello everyone. I never do this....but I want to share with you a page straight out of one of my scrapbooks.
I found this adorable mini-golf scrapbook paper and thought it would just be perfect for this pictures.
The pattern set is from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs and will be retired at the end of the month. Thanks so much for looking. I am currently finishing up a fireman's layout so come back soon to check it out.
Happy first day of summer. What says summer more than ice cream huh? I just created this layout that features the 'in my community-ice cream man' pattern set from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.
I love this guy.
While I was making this I was craving mint chocolate chip ice cream so bad. So I decided to make this cone that flavor.
Here is the rocket bomb and push pops.
Here is a close up of the ice cream truck. I think I made the wrong color choice. I think it looks more like a short school bus with ice cream pictures on it. :(
Here is a shot of the photo mats. I just love this paper, especially the ice cream truck. It matches perfectly. If I have left you wanting ice cream...go treat yourself and celebrate the first day of summer. Thanks so much for looking.
I am posting now because I am working a split double shift tomorrow.
I want to wish all the Dads out there a happy father's day tomorrow. My Dad was a landscaper. I always feel closer to him when I cut my grass. So I did this card to look like me (with black pigtails) along with dandelions. haha.
I actually used several different patterns from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. Thanks so much for looking.
Happy Thursday everyone...I can feel the weekend coming!!
I want to share this cutie that I just finished up...
This is 'little miss-matched'. I think this was my most favorite layout I have done to date. I loved that the mats did not have to match. The thread did not have to match. The ribbon did not have to match. The flowers did not have to match. This was a great way to use up some of my scraps laying around.
This pattern is from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. Look at how adorable her little socks are.
Here are some more socks and a great shot of the stitching on the mats.
Here are another pair of socks.
Thanks so much for looking. Tomorrow and Saturday are my days off and my hubby is off too. (I think our honeymoon was the last time we both had the same days off.) So I am not sure how much I will be playing with paper, but come back Sunday and see if there is anything new :)
Hello everyone. I am getting in the summer mood!! Of course a big part of the summer is the 4th of July. I can't believe it is just over two weeks away. Here is a cute card I made.
This features a pattern from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. I just love this birdie's face. I did some machine stitching on both the blue mat as well as the card base. The red, white and blue stars on the ribbon are actually foam stickers from the dollar store. They just give the card added dimension.
This is the inside of the card. I like to add a bit of the same paper from the front as well as more foam stars...it ties it all together.
This is what it looks like when open from an angle. Thanks for looking.
Here is a card that I made for her. It features several different patterns from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. At first I didn't like the eyes on this beauty but they are growing on me.
This is the inside cover of the card. So simple and basic. You can barely see the stitching that I did but I made a huge mistake in the upper right corner. Oops. Thats what makes it homemade right? Thanks so much for looking
Hi Everyone. I just want to share this cutie little tag that I made.
This is actually the free pattern this week offered by Little Scraps of Heaven Design. I love it's simplicity and elegance. I can't wait to give it to put it on a gift to give someone special :) Thanks so much for looking.
