HANUKKAH BEARS

Hello again. I know Thanksgiving is this week but I wanted to share my newest Hanukkah bears.
Last year,  A friend of mine was so disappointed in the fact that she had such a hard time finding Hanukkah cards that I thought I would make these cuties to have on hand just in case.
I love the blue colors so much that of course I had to make both bears with blue eyes.
Thanks again for looking. Come back tomorrow to see a cute gingerbread girl I am currently working on.

This little guys is adorable with his corn in hand.
This cutie is holding a pumpkin.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEC

Hi folks. I want to share a birthday card I made for my nephew who turned 11 today. I used the 'all star' and 'birthday title' pattern sets from Designs on Cloud 9.
This is the inside of the card. I wanted to expand my horizon and try a different stitch on my sewing machine and thought it came out pretty good until I looked at these pictures. Ugh. It looks much better in person. Haha.
I also made him some maple bacon cookies. A few weeks ago, he told me how much he loves bacon. So I threw these together now my house smells amazing!!!
Happy Birthday Alec. I hope you have a great birthday and an amazing time tomorrow at your first Boston Celtics game :)

HALLOWEEN KITTY

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! I have this adorable kitty card to share with you. I made it for my friend who LOVES cats. I used the 'vertical A2 card' as well as the 'halloween kitty' patterns from Designs on Cloud 9.
I stitched the outer edge with black thread and stuck with the orange roses. This time I added some black tiny beads to the centers. I just know that Traci is going to love this card!! I hope all of you enjoy your halloween. Dress up and eat as much candy as you want. This day only comes once a year!

ALL H-OWL-OWS EVE

Happy halloweens eve!!! I usually cant sleep a wink on the night before Halloween. I get all excited over the costumes and candy!! Haha.
I love this pattern. It is the 'hallows eve' pattern from Designs on Cloud 9. I also used the A2 shaped card. Once again I used black thread around the edge of the card...and regret it. It came out awful.
I stuck with the orange roses and black leaves/stems. I hope you like this as much as me. Stay tuned for yet another great one tomorrow!!!

APPLE OF MY EYE

Hello everyone. I am back. I recently had eye surgery and am feeling great. So now it is my most favorite time of the year FALL. I love everything that has to do with this time of the year - apples, mums, corn stalks, pumpkins etc. So when Designs on Cloud 9 released this pattern set, it was a must to get and use.
Here is a close up of the title.
I love how this basket of apples came out. I love the rich colors.
Thanks so much for looking. Stay tuned for some amazing Halloween projects.

CHOCOLATE CAKE??

Hello everyone. I wanted to share this awesome chocolate cake I made for a friend of mine.
I found this awesome cake carrier at the DOLLAR STORE today. How perfect for a dollar.
I bought the chocolate and bubble gum at Walmart in the Halloween section. Perfect time of year to buy in bulk. I attached each piece to a green foam ring, (also found at the dollar store) with glue dots that I had bought at a craft store.
Here is a pretty view from the top. I just love how it looks and how yummy it smells :)

BEACH CRABS

Hello again. As I get ready to take off for a little vacation, I wanted to work on something to get me first in the mood. How adorable are these beach crabs?
I think this one just might be my favorite.
I used several Designs on Cloud 9 patterns to create this one page layout. The crabs are from 'beach crabs'. The photo/journaling mats are 'photo fun'. Finally, the background paper is from the 'scallops' set.
Thanks for looking and I can't wait to start my vacation in less than 24 hours. Maine here I come!!

ROLLER DERBY

Hi folks. I want to share a cute project I made using the 'roller skate' pattern from Designs on Cloud 9. I found these foam finger hands at Michael's and bought some foam flat sheets. I cut the patterns pieces out with my cutting machine. Then, traced and cut each piece out of the foam. I glue them together onto the foam hands. There were props to cheer on my niece at her derby match.
Haha, this is my mother in her chair on the floor cheering for the team. This picture shows the back of the foam hand - it has a heart with one of my niece's baby pictures and says 'we love Courtney'.
This is my Mom, my niece and me. What a great night. Courtney even won an award for MVP!! We are very proud of you Court :)

BREAST CANCER SUPPORT

Hello. I want to share with you a project that I have recently done. A great friend of mine is fighting the fight of her life, breast cancer. I wanted to create something to cheer her up and show my support. I made this cute bouquet of paper flowers. I wanted to use all different shades of pink and of course use a pink ribbon in some way.
This is the gerber daisy that is at the top of the bouquet, as well as some other shots...
This cute card was also mailed. I made it with a retired Designs on Cloud 9 pattern. I just love how the roses came out in the upper right corner. I know that she is going to win this battle because she is a fighter!!! Feel better Lara!!1
