Happy Sunday everyone. I want to share what I made my Mummy for Mother's Day. This was my first attempt at felt flowers.
I think they are 'ok' for my first but I know I can do better next time.
Thanks for looking and Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there.

I want to share an adorable onsie and baby card that I just finished up for a special new baby.
How cute is this? I found it at Target with the wonder woman vinyl on it. I thought it might be a bit cuter if I put her name in the middle with matching glitter vinyl.
Here is the card that I made to go with the present.
How sweet.
This is the inside of the card. I am so excited for the new Mom and Dad and can't wait to meet Nova.

Hi folks, I am sure that some of you have been wondering where I have been. Well, I decided to leave my Design Team position with Little Scraps of Heaven on March 31st. I loved being a part of such a nice company but I wanted to work on some other projects. This is one of them...
For quite some time now I have wanted to 'play' with felt. I have a family member who is getting ready to turn 3 next month and she LOVES food. So I thought I would make her a whole days worth of 'fun felt food' to make her whole day a celebration. This is what is on the menu for dinner...PIZZA.
How adorable huh? I just spend a few minutes ironing the sauce and cheese. Now I am starving.
Look at the peppers, pepperoni, mushrooms, and white onions. Yum. Thanks so much for looking. Come back and see what is on the menu for the rest of the day.

Hello everyone. Tomorrow my niece is flying to Portugal on a class trip. Geez, when I was in school we went to the zoo on our class trips. :)
I made this card for her. I am so excited for her. I did not have the courage then or even now to go abroad. I just know that she will have a great time.
I just hope she doesn't have such a great time that she doesn't come back :)

Hello folks. My good friend Yolie (from 'Just Yolie') had a birthday last week. I made her an adorable card and gift that finally arrived in California all the way from Massachusetts. I didn't want to ruin the surprise by posting it here until I knew she got it. Now, I can finally share it with you all. (Sorry for the camera angle.) Here is her card...
If you know Yolie, you know she is a big fan of planners. I thought this card was just perfect for her. The pattern is the 'happy planner bear' from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.
I also made her this 'fat free' slice of birthday cake. It is actually made from a kitchen sponge and felt.
I tried to copy the exact font from her logo on her facebook page. I think I came close.
Here is a close up of some roses I did on the end.
I hope my good friend enjoyed her birthday. I am so glad she was born and is a part of my world.

I just LOVE this pattern from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs. It gives me hope that spring is coming...maybe tomorrow. ~ Amanda

Hi everyone. I want to share a card I made for my God~daughter Jadyn.
She participated in a read~a~thon and did really well. So proud of her.

Happiest birthday wishes to my God~Mother. To celebrate I made her this paper cake.
Each slice of cake is actually a box that contains chocolate. Hershey's has recently come out with a 'birthday line' that has fun festive wrappers and the kisses have fun celebration words on the flags.
This cake was a lot of work but how fun huh? This would be such a great idea if you host a party and then at the end, you could send everyone home with their own 'slice' to have later. Or you could easily just made a single slice to help celebrate someone's birthday as well.
Thank you so much for looking. If you see my God~mother today, wish her a happy one. :)
A big thank you to My Scrap Chick for the use of the pattern.

Hi again everyone. I wanted to share another one page layout with you all. Look how special this is...
I love when little girls get their ears pierced and their Mom takes pictures(or video) to document such a special day. It is when these 'big girls' can now wear grown up pierced earring and it should be a big deal.
Look how cute she is still on that stool and those earrings are adorable.
I love this gun. It is perfect!!! Thanks so much for looking.

Has anyone seen this movie yet? I am dying to but not sure my husband is willing to go with me :)
I made this one page layout of the Beauty and her Beast. Both patterns are from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.
Here is a close up of these couple. Belle is made from just plain cardstock but he is made from cardstock and mulberry paper.
Thanks so much for looking. If you have seen the movie, I hope you enjoyed it.

Hi everyone. Happy St.Patrick's Day. Are any of you going out to celebrate today? It is actually my brother-in-laws birthday so we will be staying in to celebrate with pizza, cake, and ping pong :) But I do want to share this adorable card that I did make for my Irish husband...
How adorable is she? This is what I hoped my little girl looked like if I had a little girl.
Look at that hair!!!
Here is a better shot of the has a four leaf clover on the base with a green sparkle heart on top. Then I added a claddagh ring, a gold coin and a shamrock. Other than a beer, it doesn't get more irish than that. Thanks so much for looking.

Hello everyone. We are getting ready for the blizzard coming our way here in New England. But before all that snow comes, I wanted to share some bright cheery thank you cards I just finished up.
How great are these? I have had this pattern for a long time. This is from My Scrap Chick. I think it was intended to be used as a Thanksgiving Day card but I thought it was so appropriate to show my gratitude for some birthday gifts that I received earlier in the month.
Thank you so much for looking. Come back tomorrow for another great project. I plan on being 'snowed' in and can't wait to see all the fun stuff I get done.

Hi folks. I have yet another Valentine's Day project to share with you all.
How adorable is this border? I love the foil hearts on the background paper. It goes perfectly with the paper punch border.
Here is a close up of  the dam. I should have made all the little sticks a different color.
What a cutie. I love his face. haha. Thanks so much for looking.

Hello everyone. I promise this will be my last Valentine for the day. I want to share this new type of card that I made. This is called a '5 panel fancy fold card'.

I love how it looks like a shadow box in the middle. Thanks so much for looking. I hope everyone felt some love today.

Look at this amazing Valentine's Day card I got from my great friend Yolie from 'Just Yolie'.

How beautiful is this creation? Isn't it beautiful to be loved and appreciated by friends? Thank you so much Yolie. I love it and you. Happy Valentine's Day my friend.

Good morning and happy Valentine's Day. I have an adorable card to show you right now and maybe some more surprises throughout the day. Look at this card I made my niece. She LOVES cows.

How cute huh and yummy. Now I want cookies for breakfast. Enjoy the day and come back soon for some more fun.

Hi again. I have another Valentine's Day Card to share with you.

Thanks so much for looking. Come back tomorrow for some more Valentine's Day fun.

Hi folks. Those who follow me regularly know that this past Christmas I dropped the ball. Each year I usually make my neighbor holiday cookies and this year with being so busy at work, I never got around to it. I felt awful especially as my neighbors would come by one by one to drop off their yummy treats for me. UGH. Despite making them each a homemade thank you card, I made up my mind to do something special for them come Valentines. So this is what I came up with...

I altered a muffin box and made homemade apple/cinnamon muffins. I added a few drops of food coloring to make them pink and added a candy heart in the middle of each one.

I delivered them yesterday after church and they loved them. What a great idea for someone who does not like chocolate. Thanks so much for looking. Come back tomorrow for another cute Valentine project.

Good morning. We are bracing for another snow storm here in New England so I thought I would post another project early before I get called for shoveling duty. Here is a Valentine that I made for a special Uncle. I just love it and I know he will too.

Saturday, February 11, 2017

Good morning everyone. I want to share the Valentine I made for my Mother.

This was my first attempt at this type of card. I was super surprised at how easy it was and how great it looks. It will definitely be something I do again in the future. Thanks so much for looking. Come back tomorrow for another great Valentine project.

Yes, I am one of 'those' people. I am one of those people who celebrates the day that I went on my first date ever with my honey (who is now my husband). I have always thought people who celebrate their first date with their significant other was silly. But now I realize I celebrate it because it was the day that changed my life forever. I can honestly say that I am a much better person because of that day. I have never been this happy because of that date. That is why I celebrate.
So here is the card I made for him.
Here is the card front.
This is what the card looks like when open.
This is what it looks like when put into place. Thanks so much to Little Scraps of Heaven Designs for the pattern and thank you for looking.

Blizzard greetings from New England. I just shoveled my driveway for two minutes just so my husband could get his vehicle in our driveway and it is snowing like crazy. Eek. Be safe everyone. I just wanted to quickly post a project just in case we lose power. Look at this adorable card I made for my niece.
She gave me her sewing machine that has far more stitching options than my current machine. How sweet of her huh? So I made this card to 'thank' her as well as get some practice. I did three different stitches on the front of this easel card.
This is the inside of the card that features three more stitches. Clearly, I need more practice.
Here is the card when put in place. So cute. Thank you again for the use of your amazing machine :)
