WELCOME HARPER CAROLINE

My oldest niece recently had her second daughter, Harper Caroline. I made this cute card for her welcome. The bear is made of mulberry paper. I attached a cute little pink bow for dimension. I also attached a pin brad to hold the arrow on the scale. The mat is decorated with stitching from my sewing machine.
Here is a close up of the bear. I just love how adorable she is. Along with this card, I sent her a pink onsie with a New England Patriot patch on the chest along with cute knitted booties that have a different Pats logo on them. I can't wait to meet her. Congratulations to her parents Brooke and Greg!!!

BEST DAY EVER

Hi Folks, look at how adorable this one page layout is. It is a complete pattern set from Designs on Cloud 9. These page kits are so super easy. I love how quickly a page can come together.
I love how the letters are a part of the mat.
I added some gold stickles on the star on the top as well as the one on the bottom.
I also added some stickles to the letters of 'ever' just to tie it all together. To finish it, all I have to do is fine the right picture :) Thanks for looking.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY (as I continue to get caught up)

Hello everyone. I want to share my very first vinyl project with you all. This is a bucket that I had actually made for my mother for Mother's Day. It is metal bucket that I bought at Hobby Lobby. Then I cut out the letters and a whisk and rolling pin from a pattern set from Designs on Cloud 9.
Here is a close up shot of the whisk.
And here is a close up of the rolling pin. I cant believe how easy this project really was. I know so many other crafty women who are intimated by vinyl and avoid it. I admit that I was a little nervous too, more afraid of ruining my cutting machine than anything. But if you are one of those crafty women who have been thinking about trying vinyl, DO IT!! And share your project with me. I would love to see it.

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY JACK

I wanted to share a birthday banner I made for a special little boy named Jack. I used two sets of patterns from Designs on Cloud 9, 'the banner' as well as 'mouse birthday'.
This project is so tough to get photos of that show how adorable it really is.
This shows a close up of the #1 that I included at the beginning and end of each line.
This shows the letters and tiny ribbon that I used to attach each banner triange to each other. I outlined each letter with green stickles to give it more definition.
The banner pattern comes with three different shapes options. I chose the stars since Jack really is a star. So tough to see but maybe this picture shows the shape a little better. I hope Jack has the best birthday ever!!

Magical Night Skyline

Hi again. I just wanted to share with you all a one page layout I did. I just love how it came out. It is from Designs on Cloud 9 titled 'night skyline'. I  tried to create a star filled sky with all different size twinkles using glitter glue, but was afraid I was making more of a mess than anything. I think it is still pretty cool :) Not sure what picture I will post on this but it will certainly be special. Thanks for looking.
