TRICK OR TREAT BLOG HOP

Hello and welcome to the 'trick or treat blog hop'. I am so excited to be a part of this hop. Here is my project...
How cool are these? I used several different patterns from Designs on Cloud 9. The base/treat holder was created using the 'heart box' pattern.
I used the 'journal tags' pattern at the top. The 'boo' title is from the 'pumpkin boo' pattern. The 'eek' title is from the 'daddy long legs' set. I added stickles to each title letter just to add bling. (Everything is better with bling.) I actually found these test tubes at Walmart that contain tiny spooky candy.
The great thing about these boxes is that it also holds the round containers of Halloween M&M's.
For those of you who do not follow my blog, here are some projects that I have created in the past few weeks that are too cute not to show again. This is a caramel apple tear bear treat bag that holds the fabulous caramel apple flavored Milky Way candy bars.
This is the boy version showing the sides ~ it was created with apple paper.
This was a custom order I did with a cute witch and dracula.

Thanks so much for hopping by I hope you enjoy this stop. If you want to begin at the beginning here is where you can start...

My project that I want to share with you is a two page layout using the 'think pink' pattern set from Designs on Cloud 9.
I just love this set. I love the fuzzy bears as well as all the pink.

If you know someone that has been diagnosed with cancer you know it is tough on you as well. You can call them, send cards and even bring them to doctors appointments but yet you still feel so helpless as you watch them fight for their life. Shortly after my sister was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer, my niece and I decided to do the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. This is a day walk that covers 40 miles. These events are totally life changing. We loved it so much that we proudly have completed 4 different walks ~ 3 in Boston and 1 in Chicago. In addition to walking we also have raised over $15,000 for research and awareness.
This is a picture I took of my sister (in her beautiful baldness), her husband and her daughter during the closing ceremonies. I can't help but cry every time I look at it. My sister is a 8 year survivor and a great example to anyone who is currently fight this disease. I am proud of you Alison!!

Now it's time for you to go to Chrissy ~ http://scrappingbugdesigns.blogspot.com.
Thanks for hopping with us!

HANGIN' WITH MY CREEPS

Hi again. I wanted to share with you my newest scrapbook layout.
This 2 page layout features the 'daddy long legs' pattern set from Designs on Cloud 9.The spider web border that goes around each page was created with a Martha Stewart paper punch. The web paper on each end as well as the photo mat paper is also from Martha. (I absolutely love her line of Halloween paper.)
I added a few little web/spider button embellishments that I highlighted with silver stickles to make them pop. I  added the some stickles to the title as well as the larger web. The silver glitter really looks great with the silver shine of the border paper.
The larger web on this page also has the stickles added to it. I just the how great the spider border looks ~ so spooky.
How clever is this title? I just love it.
The bottom of this web has not been glued down to give a really cool effect once a picture is added to the bottom mat.
Here is a close up of the spider paper. I just love it. Unfortunately the picture just doesn't do it justice. Each spider has a black shine to it that really makes them spooky.
Thanks again for looking. I hope you enjoyed it. Please come back tomorrow for a breast cancer blog hop that I am participating in. Then Sunday I am doing another blog hop that is a Halloween treat themed. So come back and get inspired.

WHOOO LOVES HALLOWEEN?

Or should I say 'who doesn't love Halloween?' This is without a doubt my most favorite holiday of the year. It is the one day of the year that society has to except you regardless!!! Plus, you don't have to brush your hair, you can wear as much make-up as you want , and candy, candy, candy!!!
I found this black and orange owl paper at Hobby Lobby last weekend. I just had to have it. My niece Noodlicious (yes, that is her given name...) asked 'what are you gonna do with it'? My response was 'I don't know, but I love it. Haha.
I used a lot of different patterns from Designs on Cloud 9 to create this. This owl as well as the 'whooo loves' title is from the 'fall owl' set. The witches hat in this picture is from 'cute witches' set. I covered the buckle with yellow stickles.
The 'halloween' is from the 'happy halloween' title pattern set. I put yellow stickles on each of the letters to dress it up a bit. This owl is from the 'what a hoot' set. The candy is from 'I want candy'. The trick or treat pumpkin bucket is from the 'batty' set.
Here is another close up of the title. This is also another great shot of some more candy. The candy corn hearts are from the 'my mummy' set.

Look at how cute this paper is. The mats were created using the 'photo fun mat' set. I just love these lil guys.
Thanks so much for looking. Stay tuned for some yummy creations that I have in store for this week. Plus I have two different blog hops coming up... One is a breast cancer awareness, and then a Halloween treat bag/container one. This is going to be a fun and busy week.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHELLE

Today is Michelle's birthday (the owner and creator of Designs on Cloud 9). As a tribute to her I created these two cute items to celebrate. The 'cake' was made from the 'nesting box' set from DC9. I used the 'goo border from the boo-tiful' set. For the roses, I used the 'curly' flower set. The candle was made from a toilet paper tube. The hat I created from the 'haunted halloween party' pattern set. I just love how cute these came out. I hope Michelle loves them too. Have a great day Michelle.
(I just wanted to share this picture I took after the bottom layer of the cake was done. My assistant was sleeping on the job. I love you Hairy!)
