WEDDING GUEST HOTEL BASKET

Hello everyone. Our wedding is just 3 days away and out of town guest are beginning to arrive!!! I have an uncle who is actually staying in the bed and breakfast on the grounds of where the wedding will be. Although he is originally from here, he moved to Florida several years ago. I put together a basket to great him when he checks into his room.
It includes some local favorite...
Spice Apple wine from Diamond Hill Vineyards. I have never had a drink in my life, but think it is so interesting that this wine can be heated. I was told that it tastes just like warm apple pie.
This is Iggy's clam cake mix...Who doesn't love Iggy's?
The groom and I specially went to Wright's to get fudge and of course have some chicken while there. Our wedding attire maybe a little tighter for this reason.
I put several packs of Del's power mix. Everyone must have some Del's when in Rhode Island.
Now this says N.Y. but it screams Providence Rhode Island!!
This is a door knob hanger I made with my Silhouette machine. It is tough to read but it says 'Shhh.. Recovering from Amanda and Brian's Wedding'. Haha. I thought the inn keepers at the bed and breakfast would get a kick out of this.
I also including a copy of his former local newspaper the Valley Breeze. I also put this Rhode Island post card...
I wrote on the back that I hope he know how excited that we were that he came all this way to celebrate with us. I also wrote that I loved him very much and hoped he enjoyed this basket filled with goodies to remind him that he was HOME. Can't wait to see my Uncle Bob :)

WEDDING TAKE OUT BOXES

Hi folks. I am sure that you all think that I have got missing but I just have been busy with putting vinyl on wedding take out boxes. Believe it or not...this project took me over 40 hours to complete.
The place we went with to order our cake only delivers for 100 servings of cake or more. We have invited 50 people so I decided to buy take out boxes and give each guest a little cake to take home at the end of the night. This way that can think of us while having a midnight snack.  I 'dress' them up a bit with some vinyl.
The box tops read 'a sweet ending to a new beginning'. Our main wedding color is maroon and we have a fall/football theme.
The box fronts have our names on them.
I place a paper doily in each box.
I found these cupcake picks at the same store that I got the boxes. I thought it would be a nice touch to stick one in each slice of cake.
Here a shot of both the top and the front. Thanks for looking. Stay tuned for some more great wedding projects.
