WEDDING GUEST HOTEL BASKET

Hello everyone. Our wedding is just 3 days away and out of town guest are beginning to arrive!!! I have an uncle who is actually staying in the bed and breakfast on the grounds of where the wedding will be. Although he is originally from here, he moved to Florida several years ago. I put together a basket to great him when he checks into his room.
It includes some local favorite...
Spice Apple wine from Diamond Hill Vineyards. I have never had a drink in my life, but think it is so interesting that this wine can be heated. I was told that it tastes just like warm apple pie.
This is Iggy's clam cake mix...Who doesn't love Iggy's?
The groom and I specially went to Wright's to get fudge and of course have some chicken while there. Our wedding attire maybe a little tighter for this reason.
I put several packs of Del's power mix. Everyone must have some Del's when in Rhode Island.
Now this says N.Y. but it screams Providence Rhode Island!!
This is a door knob hanger I made with my Silhouette machine. It is tough to read but it says 'Shhh.. Recovering from Amanda and Brian's Wedding'. Haha. I thought the inn keepers at the bed and breakfast would get a kick out of this.
I also including a copy of his former local newspaper the Valley Breeze. I also put this Rhode Island post card...
I wrote on the back that I hope he know how excited that we were that he came all this way to celebrate with us. I also wrote that I loved him very much and hoped he enjoyed this basket filled with goodies to remind him that he was HOME. Can't wait to see my Uncle Bob :)

WEDDING TAKE OUT BOXES

Hi folks. I am sure that you all think that I have got missing but I just have been busy with putting vinyl on wedding take out boxes. Believe it or not...this project took me over 40 hours to complete.
The place we went with to order our cake only delivers for 100 servings of cake or more. We have invited 50 people so I decided to buy take out boxes and give each guest a little cake to take home at the end of the night. This way that can think of us while having a midnight snack.  I 'dress' them up a bit with some vinyl.
The box tops read 'a sweet ending to a new beginning'. Our main wedding color is maroon and we have a fall/football theme.
The box fronts have our names on them.
I place a paper doily in each box.
I found these cupcake picks at the same store that I got the boxes. I thought it would be a nice touch to stick one in each slice of cake.
Here a shot of both the top and the front. Thanks for looking. Stay tuned for some more great wedding projects.

WEDDING GUEST 'BOOK'

Good morning, I started on our guest 'book' for the wedding. If you couldn't tell, we are having a New England Patriot football/fall themed wedding. So how perfect is this for our guest 'book'?
I found this all white football at the Christmas Tree Shop. I put silver vinyl on the 'rough' panel that reads 'Amanda & Brian' (again in the birds of paradise font)...
and the date on the other end (stoehr number font). I just love it.
Here is a shot of the top of the football.
Here is the other side of the top. I have a football tee to stand it on a table at the reception. I just now have to buy some fresh sharpies for everyone to sign our ball. I am getting super excited.
Here is a bonus photo...this would be my son Jack (treeing walker coonhound) on the left smelling the football. He's gotta stick his nose in everything. I guess you can take the dog out of the forest but you can't take the hunting out of the dog!!!

WEDDING WINE GLASSES

Hello folks. I am so excited to share with you all the wine glasses that my lovie and I just made for our wedding.
Since our budget is tight, we used glasses that we already had.
I cut vinyl on my silhouette machine and stuck it to the glass.
Then we brushed on Armour Etching Cream. (Available at any craft store. I got mine at Joann's with a 40% off coupon.) I brushed it on in one direction, then another direction, then a different direction for 5 minutes. Then rinsed the glass off with water. Then I dried it. How simple is that? I just love, love, love how they came out.
On the front they say 'Mr or Mrs Timberlake' (bird of paradise font) and then on the back...
It says our wedding date 9 (stoehr numbers font). I am unsure if I want to keep them like this or paint the stems with glitter. I think I will sleep on it and decide in the morning. Stay tuned to see how they come out.

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS TRAINING CAMP

Hello and welcome. Today is the first day of the New England Patriot's training camp. Or should I say the first day of the super bowl champion New England Patriot's training camp. I did go and it was great. I am going again tomorrow but with two of my nephews. To show my excitement, I made us matching t-shirts.
This is mine. I got it on sale at Old Navy for $4. You can't tell from the pictures but it was done with two different shades of purple. I just love the glitter deep purple.
This is the back of my shirt with my name between my shoulder blades.
Here are my nephews shirts. I did them in blue, red, and silver glitter heat transfer vinyl. Unfortunately, that is all I had in my stash. I hope they don't think they look to girly with the glitter.
Here is a close up. I put their last name on their right sleeve.

Because the weather is forecast to be in the 90's, I bought hand held fan/misters too.
Of course I made vinyl to put our names on the front and the back...
has the team logo. Thanks for looking and Go Pats.

Happy Graduation to my niece Felicia.
Hi folks. I want to share this adorable card I made. I again went with the blue and white school color theme. The pattern is from my good friend Lisa at Precious Piecings.
Here is a close up of this cutie.
I wish Felicia the best of luck as she heads to high school in September. I just know that she is going to be a hugh success. :)
